This historic preservation project focused on documenting and safeguarding a series of intricate, hand-crafted windows. To fabricate custom storm covers for the existing openings, each window required a highly accurate scan and digital model. Capturing the 15-foot-tall windows—positioned 33 feet above ground level—demanded an unconventional approach. A lift was used to elevate the LiDAR scanner into place, allowing the team to collect precise, high-resolution data without compromising accuracy.
